The Ohio Bird Sanctuary is a non-profit rehabilitation and education center for Ohio's birds of prey and songbirds. Our goals are to educate the public, provide a safe haven for injured or orphaned birds of prey or songbirds, and give the community a place to experience nature. We provide outreach programs and programs on site, please see our programming page for details and fees.

There is no admission fee for the Sanctuary and we are open year-round.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call us at 419-884-4295. Thank you!

It's the holiday season at the Sanctuary!
Thanks to everyone who came and participated in Christmas for the Birds! Your donations were very much needed and appreciated. The aviary birds are ecstatic to have more seed for winter and the birds of prey are very thankful for all the cleaning supplies that will help keep their cages in tip-top shape. The Sanctuary is still decked out in all its Christmas glory, and a little bit of snow can make the trails a beautiful afternoon hike.
As the new year begins, make sure to mark your calendar for the February Owl Talks. More information on these events can be found on our event page. They are every Saturday at 7:00 P.M. in February and they are open to the public free of charge.

From all the Staff and Birds at the Ohio Bird Sanctuary,
Happy Holidays!
