Our summer camps are 3-day camps going from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Each camp has a specific theme that will help show kids the value of nature and how much fun being outside can be! Some past themes include: The Water Cycle, Plants, Survival in the Wild, Amphibians, and (of course) Birds!
The themes for this year's Summer Camps are listed below.

Camp age limits range from 6 to 12 years old. Six year old's must have completed 1st grade. If you have any questions concerning your child and he/she attending a camp please call the Sanctuary (419-884-4295) and ask one of our staff members.

Every camp is supervised by at least two staff members and may be occupied by a senior Jr. Naturalist as well. Camps have a limit of 20 kids per camp.

2010 Summer Camp Dates

• June 15-17 - Alien Invasion!: A camp all about invasive species and how they affect the world around us.
• June 22-24 - Water Wonders: Explore stream, river, and marsh ecosystems to discover the kinds of life that inhabit them.
• July 27-29 - Wanted Dead or Alive: All dead things have to go somewhere. Learn all about decomposers and their vital role in the environment.
• August 3-5 - Kid VS Wild!: Learn basic survival skills and have fun putting them in practice.
• August 10-12 - Egg-stravaganza!: Eggs come in all shapes and sizes. Discover just how many at this camp!

For those in Financial Need, scholarships of $25 per camper are available. More information and scholarship forms are available upon request.
