We are happy to announce that the Ohio Bird Sanctuary will be offering programming exclusively for home school families! We will offer three different quarters of programming each having three sessions. Each session will have a different environmental education theme. They will all consist of hikes focusing on the theme for the week, special animal visitors and science based activities.

Time: 1:00 - 3:00PM
Cost: $4 per student per session if attending all three sessions. Or $5 a student if attending one or two sessions only.

Winter 2009/2010 Quarter - "Birds of a Feather"

-December 4th: Birds and Adaptations
-January 8th: Birds and classification
-February 5th: Owls and dissecting pellets

Spring 2010 Quarter - "Going Green"

-March 5th: Recycling
-April 2nd: Amphibians and Reptiles
-May 7th: Plant ID

Fall 2010 Quarter - "Diversity"

-September 10th: Insects
-October 8th: Trees
-November 5th: Mammals

We are only accepting 20 students per session so in order to hold your spot we need your registration and payment in advance. This is a first come first serve basis.
