The Ohio Bird sanctuary offers a variety of programs that can be brought to your school, club, or event.

On Site Programs

We offer a variety of on-site programs for individuals and groups of all sizes and ages!

Adopt-a-Bird Program

Support the care of our birds, by "adopting" one of them! It's the perfect gift for the bird lover in your family!

Nature Camps

The Ohio Bird Sanctuary offers Day Camps for youth 4 to 12 years old. Camps are held in Summer, Fall, Winter, & Spring.

Home School Program

The Ohio Bird Sanctuary offers a Home School Program that meets once/month from September-May. Activities include hiking, animal encounters, life science activities, and crafts!

Preschool Program

The Ohio Bird Sanctuary offers programming for preschool families! Each class will include a story, animal encounter, and an activity!

Family Nature Workshops

Family Nature Workshops are fun for all ages! Build a project and meet some of our birds up close!

The OBS Jr Naturalists are students ages 13-18 years old who are interested in learning about wildlife and the environment, serving as ambassadors of the Sanctuary, and enjoying fun and fellowship in the outdoors. Youth Volunteer Program
